Cake Care Instructions
Each cake is lovingly handmade, making it uniquely delicate. It is important they are handled with care.
To keep your cake looking and tasting amazing, follow these guidelines for safe transport, storage, and serving.
Before you collect
- Make space in your fridge for your cake.
- Make space in your car boot or footwell.
Carrying your cake
- Pick up and carry it flat from the bottom of the box.
- Do not tilt it towards yourself.
Travelling with your cake
- Place cake flat, preferably on a non slip mat, in car boot or footwell away from loose objects, keep air con on.
- Drive slowly avoiding sudden stops and turns.
Storage & Serving
- Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat when not in the fridge.
- Store cake in box inside the fridge.
- If storing in the fridge for a long period, remove any paper/card toppers first, any moisture could cause them to curl out of shape.
- Take cake out about an hour before serving to bring to room temperature.
- To keep your cake fresh for a few more days, store leftover cake in the fridge in an air tight container or wrapped in foil/clingfilm.
